Recent commissioned work: Rubber duckies gone wrong!

 

My client wanted the 4 pieces to be similar to the 2 pieces she already had for the room. So I used those as inspiration. They were French and aged with a focal point on one object. The result is a series of 6 pieces to hang in her bathroom. Guests may initially think they are innocent French, aged paintings, but as the obvious color of the duck may stand out, the viewer will start to realize that their innocent assumption has a hidden agenda.
